Haustmessa og Haustfögnuður í dönsku kirkjunni

Þakkargjörðar guðsþjónusta og haustfagnaður.

Það er okkur mikil ánægja að tilkynna haustguðsþjónustu íslenska safnaðarins sem mun fara fram sunnudaginn 3. október kl 15:00 í Dönsku Kirkjunni við Regents Park – London NW1 4HH.

Nýji presturinn okkar Sjöfn Müller Þór messar, Íslenski kórinn í London mun syngja undir stjórn Helga Rafns Ingvarssonar og Ingunn Gyða Hrafnkelsdóttir sér um sunnudagaskólann.

Íslendingafélagið mun standa fyrir haustfagnaði í garði kirkjunnar eftir messuna. Bragi Þór Ólafsson, gítarleikari mun spila ljúfa bakgrunnstónlist og einnig verður hoppukastali fyrir börnin í boði LOGOS.
Íslenskt sælgæti verður boðið til sölu en fólk er hvatt til að koma með eigið nesti með sér.
Skráning í fermingarfræðsluna er einnig hafin hjá Sr. Sjöfn á netfanginu sjofn.thor@kirkjan.is en fyrstu fermingarfræðslu tímarnir fara fram í dönsku kirkjunni, 3. október kl 11:00

Við hlökkum mikið til að hittast í persónu eftir þetta langa hlé, en mælum með að fullorðnir beri grímur innandyra og fjölskyldur sitji saman en hafi 1-2 metra á milli hópa.

The traditional Scottish Norwegian Advent Concert will take place in St. Giles’ Cathedral, Edinburgh at 7pm, featuring the Schola Cantorum of Edinburgh directed by Eric von Ibler, alongside musicians Sigrid Moldestad, vocal and fiddle, Roald Kaldestad, guitars, and Sigbjørn Apeland, organ and piano, from Vestland, Norway.

Rock-band-collective Sløtface are playing 6 dates in the UK.

Wednesday 22 November, London:
Beady Belle, the groovy Norwegian jazz band founded by Beate S. Lech, is performing at the renowned London jazz club Ronnie Scotts. Expect an energetic and hypnotic live performances, with a dash of real soul improvisation.

Friday 24 - Sunday 26 November, London:
Artist Kjell Folkvord is exhibiting as part of Delta House Studios' open studios weekend in Earlsfield.

Saturday 25 November, London:
Scandinavian folk musicians Erik Rydvall and Olav Mjelva join British violin virtuoso Max Baillie in Dalston as Lodestar Trio for a unique take on Baroque music. noisenight45 at The Jago is organised by Through the Noise.

Monday 27 - Tuesday 28 November, London:
Paal Nilssen-Love and Lean Left are back at Cafe OTO for a two-day residency. Nilssen-Love has established himself on the international scene as a powerful drummer with high energy and creativity.

Tuesday 28 November - Friday 1 December, Aberdeen, Edinburgh:
One of the UK’s top jazz pianists meets one of Scandinavia’s foremost guitarists. Tom Gibbs and Bjørn Solli join forces to play exciting originals and some of their favourite standards.

Thursday 30 November - Sunday 17 December:
The 'Buzz Aldrin of Norwegian rock', Bokassa, is touring the UK supprting hard rock veterans Theraphy? Check out the dates and venues here.

Friday 1 December, London:
Just in time for Christmas, Comedy-Horror film There's Something in the Barn from director Magnus Martens is coming to the UK, courtesy of Vertigo Releasing. In selected cinemas and digital streaming.

Formed in 1993, Aeternus is one of Norway's most established death metal bands. In December they tour the UK, promoting their ninth album 'Philosopher'.

Wednesday 6 December, London:
The City of Oslo, in cooperation with The Nobel Peace Center and The Norwegian Embassy, invite you to mark this year’s Nobel Peace Prize, with one of Norway’s most exciting artists, Metteson, as part of their series 'Songs that Changed the World'. Register for your free ticket here.

Thursday 7 December, London:
As part of the annual lighting ceremony for this year's Trafalgar Tree from Oslo, rising star Metteson will be performing on Trafalgar Square. The ceremony begins at 18.00.
